A law firm seeks a dedicated Attorney to join its team in El Segundo, California. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who specializes in business law, real estate, and estate planning. The firm values collaboration and integrity while serving clients in the Los Angeles/South Bay community.

Duties:

• Prepare and draft various legal documents and pleadings.
• Manage discovery processes for ongoing cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to legal practice.

Requirements:

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional and litigation law for both plaintiff and defendant cases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
• Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar.
