Senior Commercial Contracts Counsel The candidate will serve as first US based counsel, will take an entrepreneurial approach and serve as a key voice in the room providing advice to growing Teams, Enterprise and Education (TEE) team in Austin, TX. Will help Company to continue its growth and success in the US, with a focus on TEE products including Company for Enterprise product, Company for Education and strategic partnerships. Will join a dynamic global legal team working on a variety of innovative legal issues across the entire company. Will be required to leverage expertise, good judgement and strong business sense to help us grow Company in the US, while assessing and mitigating legal risk. Act as the primary legal advisor to our US-based TEE team, including with regard to local compliance and setup of a physical office in Austin, TX. Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements including for Company for Enterprise, Company for Education, reseller agreements and other strategic partnerships. Respond promptly to legal requests from the enterprise sales team in the US, and implement scalable and effective processes to effectively manage these requests as we scale. Keep current on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations. Develop and deliver training and scalable written guidance to the TEE team. Have a strong technical background and significant hands-on experience in SaaS contracting at a rapidly growing technology company. Have excellent communication skills and can make complex communications simple. Minimum requirements: Admission to one bar (California preferred). 8+ years practicing law (though more experience is welcome). Hands on in-house experience at a rapidly growing SaaS business.
