Boston office of our client seeks associate attorney with 5 years of experience representing corporate clients in business immigration. The candidate will be managing broad caseload(s), develop and or expand management experience and develop lasting client relationships. Independently provide legal analysis, strategic decision-making and advice to team clients. Engage with clients as lead attorney in regular client conference calls, on-site meetings, trainings and office hours, and other settings as needed to maintain strong client relationships. Take initiative in identifying opportunities for business development, including public speaking and networking functions, and pursue such activities with confidence and enthusiasm. As lead point of contact, respond promptly to client emails and phone calls seeking legal advice. Serve as primary reviewer of case filings prepared by APs and Paralegals for assigned clients, and backup reviewer as needed for other clients, under Service Level Accountability turnaround guidelines. Work closely with APs and Paralegals to supervise and mentor them in case preparation, to enhance their knowledge and skills, and expertise and efficiency in case work. Work closely with junior Associates to mentor and develop their legal knowledge and skills, and to facilitate professional development. Participate in RFP responses and pitch meetings. Lead training sessions for junior attorneys and caseworkers on various topics. JD degree is needed. Should have experience working with multiple clients in a variety of business sectors (e.g. technology, manufacturing, financial services, retail, consulting). Demonstrated knowledge and ability in all common types of employment-based nonimmigrant (e.g. H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1) and permanent residence (e.g. all EB-1, NIW, PERM) case categories needed. Should have experience working with complex individual matters. Experience supervising a team of professionals needed.
