Attorney Representative The candidate will represent claimants in administrative hearings before the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. Will manage caseload of complex Title II and Title XVI disability cases in preparation for hearing. Conduct ongoing file review and proposing dispositions with regard to assigned cases. Draft on-the-record requests, pre/post hearing briefs and appeal council briefs. Evaluate complex medical records and other pertinent case documents in relation to the current social security rules and regulations, code of federal regulation, and applicable circuit caselaw.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree and be duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney under the laws of any State. Must be an active member of the Bar in good standing. Should preferably have experience in managing, preparing and litigating Title II and Title XVI Disability Cases and Experience in STD or LTD case management. Requires travel on a regular basis.
