Duties:
- Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and proceedings.
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents and draft pleadings.
- Provide clients with expert legal counsel regarding their rights and the claims process.
- Advocate for clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategies.
- Participate in training sessions and seminars to continually develop legal knowledge.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
- Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to advocate effectively in a legal setting.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the state bar in Pennsylvania.
