Staff Attorney The candidate will litigate high impact cases on a range of reproductive rights issues in trial and appellate courts in both state and federal courts. Will develop new cases and identify and work with potential plaintiffs and witnesses. Analyze legislation for potential litigation. Work with and advise ACLU state affiliates on litigation, legislation, and advocacy. Develop relationships with other advocates, lawyers, and potential clients. Engage in public speaking, including to the media and at conferences. Travel as required for litigation, conferences, speaking engagements, and client development. Must have JD degree and two to eight years of legal experience. Individuals with significantly more experience are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with reproductive rights issues is desirable; commitment to those issues is essential.
