A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced attorney to join its Akron, OH office. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in estate planning and probate litigation, with the potential for equity partnership after one year.

Duties

• Manage an independent caseload of estate planning and probate litigation matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and court pleadings.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding estate planning options and probate issues.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and trust.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive legal support.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to estate planning and probate.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Ohio.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• A portable book of business is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
