Senior Paralegal - Contracts The candidate will be responsible for creating and drafting contracts, templates, and playbooks as needed. Provide contract support for various client groups across organization by performing contract reviews and negotiations while ensuring contracts are compliant with applicable laws and regulations and internal policies and procedures. Support contract negotiation and drafting effort. Develop and provide contract and business model related training to client group. Lead and execute special projects as tasked by internal counsel. Research legal issues. Perform in a cross-functional coordination role with other business team members (e.g., commercial, finance, legal, operations, procurement). Develop and provide contract and business model-related training to the company personnel. Mentor less-experienced contract professionals in other departments. Expert grasp of contracting concepts and strong analytical skills. Analyze new and revised laws and regulations for potential impact on business units' goals and objectives; communicates findings to business units. Analyze contract trends; drafts, and reviews contract terms and conditions with vendors and other third parties to ensure contract language conformity to legal specifications. Work effectively under deadlines. Bachelor's Degree; advanced, related degree preferred. 6 - 8 years of relevant work experience (or appropriate combination of education and experience) required. Proofreading/editing skills required. Drafting, negotiation and client communication skills required. Paralegal certificate preferred.
