Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dedicated team and contribute to a supportive and innovative legal practice focused on helping clients navigate complex family law issues. Duties:

• Provide competent legal services, including legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and status updates.
• Oversee and analyze discovery, develop case strategies, and represent clients with complex family law matters.
• Maintain regular communication with clients via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
• Record time and client interactions in the firm's case management system.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff while ensuring timely and professional work completion.
• Prepare and mentor associates for cases requiring a second chair.
• Manage assigned caseload, ensuring progress through key milestones.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure efficient daily operations within the legal team.
• Assist in guiding, training, and mentoring junior attorneys and contract attorneys.
• Recommend and develop policies, procedures, templates, and checklists to streamline processes.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with a focus on keeping clients informed and involved.
• Ability to efficiently track time and record case management interactions.
• Proven ability to delegate tasks effectively while maintaining responsibility for case outcomes.
• Team-oriented with a genuine interest in collaborating with others.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant state.

Certifications:

• State Bar membership in good standing.

• Ability to guide and mentor junior legal staff.
