Manager Claims The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of professional liability, general liability and workers compensation claims management. Will be responsible for fully supporting firm's risk financing program, particularly its captive insurance program (GFIL), as well as firm patient safety and loss prevention programs. Will manage the entire claims process to support a best in class risk management and loss prevention system. Will have the matrix responsibility for the eight hospital risk managers/directors as well as the eight hospital occupational health managers.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelorâ€™s degree; JD, advanced degree or clinical training preferred. 5 years professional and general liability claims/litigation management experience. Professional insurance designations preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation presence. Ability to make complex decisions, quickly identifies, analyzes and evaluates problems and recommends solutions. Solid judgment, conceptual and anticipatory skills with a proven ability to think outside the box and be flexible in order to meet business challenges. Unquestioned integrity and ethics, as well as accountability for results.
