Associate Attorney - Complex Liability The candidate will do research and analyze case law, statutes and regulations, particularly on insurance coverage and extra-contractual issues. Handle depositions of parties, witnesses, treating physicians and experts. Draft and argue routine and substantive motions. Attend court hearings in several different counties and courthouses and by Zoom. Prepare status and trial strategy report for clients. Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and answering interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit. Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law. Should have 3+ years of experience in complex liability. Insurance coverage experience is preferred. Good standing with the Missouri Bar is required. Illinois Bar is preferred. Experience in the following practice areas insurance, personal injury, premises, and product liability are preferred. Should demonstrate a thorough grasp of the issues and strategies in trial files. Should have strong writing skills. Excellent academic credentials are needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
