Profile

Paralegal Duties: Draft correspondence and legal documents. Maintain case flow. Research legal questions, conduct discovery, assist the supervising attorney with hearing and trial preparation. Draft deposition and hearing questions. Work with clients to manage expectations and control. Assist supervising attorney in maintaining client contact for improved attorney-client relations. Coordinate hearing dates with opposing counsel and assignment commissioners. Chart assets and debts in divorce proceedings, trace premarital and separate property. Conduct background searches on clients and opposing parties utilizing social media and criminal dockets. Interview clients for the preparation of affidavits. Create informative Guardian ad Litem packets to express position of clients. Create informative packets with collateral information for court appointed experts. Maintain effective communication with supervising attorney as to the status of cases. Comfort distraught clients through the most challenging times of their lives by communicating that their concerns are heard and are being addressed.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Domestic relations/real estate/personal injury paralegal experience preferred. Superior knowledge of domestic relations rules and procedures is preferred.
