San Rafael office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks seasoned attorney with 4-5 years of litigation and/or transaction experience representing lenders and investors. The candidate should preferably have book of business. Must have experience with loan origination or loan servicing regulations and enforcement (TILA/RESPA, ECOA, recent servicing and origination changes like TRID, Mortgage Servicing Rule changes). Should have experience in loan origination, loan servicing and or landlord/commercial property owner transaction matters. Examples would include document and regulatory review for commercial and consumer loan origination matters and preparation of commercial leases and buy sell agreements; entity formation and general business litigation experience, evidencing the ability to counsel investors and existing businesses on entity set up, general investor guidelines and inter-entity and creditor disputes. Must have commercial and consumer collection experience: Handling matters from start to trial. Experience in automobile finance and litigation matters with knowledge of Rees Levering and UCC origination and enforcement requirements and general experience with UCC issues re sale of commercial collateral needed. Experience in creditor bankruptcy and state court litigation matters is needed. Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
