Staff Attorney I The candidate will represent the company and policyholders in court, arbitrations and mediations. Will advise the company and policyholders on various legal issues and zealously defend their interests. Prepare pleadings, answers, discovery and motions as required. Conduct and/or defend Depositions. Take Examinations Under Oath. Prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda. Defend by trial or pre-trial proceedings (office or office policyholders). Report on a timely basis to office claims department. Manage a caseload of litigated files involving motor vehicle accidents. Provide the very highest level of customer service possible to the firm's clients. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and good standing with the State Bar. Should have strong research and writing skills. Excellent computer skills is needed.
