Interns will gain hands-on experience interacting with constituents, elected officials, and business and community leaders. Interns communicate with state and federal agencies to address the concerns and alleviate the problems of residents of the Central Valley. Terms and dates of internships are flexible to accommodate course credit requirements and quarter and semester students. College graduates, who are interested in pursuing professional opportunities in government-related fields, are also encouraged to apply.
Submit completed application with resume, 2 letters or recommendation (1 from an academic source (professor) and 1 from a professional source), and a writing sample (3-10 pages, dated within a year of application).
