Temporary 2018 Summer Internship Program – Law-2018 The candidate will participate in arbitrations and depositions. Will argue motion before the Workers Compensation Commission. Responsible for entering the video catalog data into database for the purpose of readily matching video to an event reported to the Control Center. Conduct legal research using online services and other sources. Draft pleadings, motions, position statements, briefs, contracts, research memoranda, and various other legal documents. Assist Labor Relations staff with processing and investigating grievances. Undergraduate Sophomore or 2nd Year Law Student is essential. General knowledge of principles, practices and/or procedures of law is essential. Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to use Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word Program is essential. Should be student in good academic standing with a variety of degrees. Law student or are majoring in Political Science, Public Policy, Pre-Law, Paralegal Studies is preferred.
