Associate Attorney - Real Estate

Duties:
- Manage and represent clients in civil litigation cases, with a focus on real estate matters.
- Draft and respond to complaints, answers, and demurrers.
- Handle depositions, discovery, and motions.
- Prepare and argue motions in court and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
- Attend hearings and handle appeals.
- Represent clients in various real estate matters including partition actions, unlawful detainer actions, and landlord/tenant disputes.
- Advise on cases related to construction defects, failure to disclose, and estate planning/probate issues.
- Manage liens, judgments, For Sale by Owner transactions, and seller financing matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in real estate law.
- Strong understanding of real estate litigation processes, including motions, depositions, and hearings.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desire to grow professionally in the legal field and take on increasing responsibilities.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
Skills:
- Strong litigation skills, including drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
- Knowledge of real estate law, including landlord/tenant issues, property disputes, and construction matters.
- Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods is a plus.
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
