Business Transaction Legal Assistant The candidate will support partners who focus on representing closely held and other businesses and providing transactional business, commercial transaction, corporate governance, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, real estate and tax services. Will assist lawyers with fast-paced administrative and document intensive projects. Will also be responsible for: entity formation; preparing engagement agreements; preparing first drafts of form documents for lawyer review; maintaining electronic and hard copy files; legal writing and research; and management of clients and client matters. Must have 3+ years of applicable experience. Computer/word processing skills are required. Should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office and Outlook.
