Deputy General Counsel The candidate will ensure the prompt delivery of legal analysis and advice to all Department divisions. Will directly manages and supervises the seven Legal Counsels that serve the Department. Interact with the Department’s executive team and will deliver thoughtful legal counsel while identifying and understanding relevant policy implications. Advocate for the Department’s core mission and strategic priorities. Must have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Should have Law degree from an accredited law school and license to practice law in the State of Missouri. Familiarity with legal and administrative issues common to government organizations, including human resources, risk-management strategies, communications issues, and budget is required.
