Senior Claims Legal Analyst The candidate will join Litigation Management Group. Will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal billing guidelines through the management and review of legal bills for claims. Responsible for the oversight, and management of fee agreements and arrangements with outside panel counsel. Negotiates with outside counsel regarding fee arrangements and/or rate increases. Maintains oversight of all cost share and fixed fee arrangements. Conducts independent research, performs analysis, and may develop KPIs to measure performance, legal spend, trends and budgets for both staff and outside counsel. Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information related to claims legal process and systems capabilities. Maintains a strong professional knowledge of competitive, regulatory and legal environments and applies this information effectively. Anticipates and meets all customer needs, both internal and external. Responsible for coordinating and maintaining various monthly and quarterly reports for senior management. Managers and completed projects as assigned. Working knowledge of claims, the legal process, and billing guidelines is essential. Should have Bachelors’ degree or demonstrated experience with a paralegal degree/certificate, 5-7 years of law firm or in-house public company experience. Insurance industry and claims experience is preferred.
