A law firm in Long Island City, NY, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of legal tasks with a focus on employment discrimination law and impact litigation, demonstrating strong legal skills and a commitment to client advocacy.

Job Duties:

  • Draft demand letters, administrative charges, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct client intake interviews and manage client relationships.
  • Assist in all aspects of the firm's litigation matters after a probationary period.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Participate in discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff on case strategies and litigation tactics.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in employment discrimination law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in impact litigation and a commitment to social justice.

Preferred Skills:
