Job Overview:
An established law firm is seeking an Attorney Specialist to join its Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice group. This is a permanent, non-partnership track position that involves supporting registered fund attorneys in areas such as mutual fund and ETF filings, compliance with the 1940 Act, and other related tasks. The position offers an opportunity to work on significant client relationships in a specialized and growing legal field.
Location:

Duties:
- Prepare and file mutual fund and ETF documents.
- Assist with new fund launches and compliance matters.
- Review and update mutual fund registration statements and shareholder reports.
- Prepare and review board materials for mutual funds.
- Conduct legal research related to matters arising under the 1940 Act.
- Collaborate with partners and associates on key client matters.
- Contribute to the overall development of the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in asset management, investment funds, or similar legal practice areas.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
- Dedication to providing high-quality client service.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admitted to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, and the 1940 Act preferred.
