Paralegal (Trust & Estate)
The candidate's duties include: Prepare probate documents such as petitions, motions, inventories, accountings and notices, as well as fiduciary income and estate tax returns for estates and trusts. Draft estate planning documents including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and ancillary planning documents. Maintain positive relations with clients through regular communication, including information gathering, answering questions, preparing correspondence and providing status updates. Maintain file docketing for trust and estate administration, guardianship and conservatorship matters. Create accountings and reports using Excel. Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate/ Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred; Previous experience with trust and estate administration required. Should have ability to prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses a plus. Must have minimum 5+ years’ experience work in a Law Firm, preferred.
