Government Contracts Attorney (Senior Associate or Counsel) The candidate will work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking matters in collaboration with other senior attorneys and partners. Must be a government contracts senior associate or counsel 6+ years of government contracts experience, including substantial bid protest experience. Substantial bid protest experience is required. Should preferably have represented protesters at GAO on sustained bid protests, and have at least some experience working on protests at the Court of Federal Claims. Should have some experience working as lead counsel on GAO protests. Must have a working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS. Experience representing service contractors and familiarity with the Service Contract Act strongly preferred. Experience drafting and negotiating subcontracts and FAR 9.6 teaming arrangements is desired. Substantial experience in one or more of the following additional areas is preferred: false claims/internal investigations, cybersecurity, M&A, CTAs, GSA schedules, cost accounting, data rights, SBA regulations, suspension & debarment, SOFAs, export controls. Must have exceptional legal research, analysis and writing skills. Should have experience acting as primary point of contact for clients and government attorneys on certain matters.
