A law firm in Marietta, GA is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in complex felony and misdemeanor cases, handling a range of legal tasks, and providing strategic legal counsel. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with the managing partner on intricate cases and must exhibit strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex felony and misdemeanor cases.
• Appear in court for various conferences, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and various legal documents.
• Negotiate plea agreements and settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with the managing partner on complex and high-stakes cases.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files and records.
• Prepare and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar association.
• Strong knowledge of relevant criminal laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Prior experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
