Profile

Program Integrity Administrative Assistant The candidate assures confidentiality of information of a sensitive nature within the department and organization. Provides comprehensive administrative support to staff in Program Integrity (PI) and to others, as needed, in Partners firm, including but not limited to arranging travel and completing travel reimbursement requests; arranges for and tracks training; handles small purchases and large acquisitions; scheduling meetings and meeting space; and space and equipment management. Works on the development and management of vendor contracts and Business Associate Agreements. Assists the PI Director in development and management of Department budget. Provides Paralegal and administrative functions including: composing moderate to complex correspondence, internal memoranda and reports that may require independent research; coordinating highly visible functions and meetings; planning and arranging for the maintenance and preparation of information needed for various meetings and presentations; manuals, files and various other information; independently monitor legal deadlines, related time sensitive matters; and other critical activities. Keeps audit and investigation files organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into electronic case files and case management software; confirming case status with Program Integrity Director. In concert with the Legal Department, composes moderate to complex correspondence relating to: Program Integrity court fillings, demand letters, NC Debt Set-off documents, motions and other related documents that are reviewed and approved by the legal division. Communicates directly with Providers because of: Notices of Overpayment, Warning Letters, Outstanding Debt Collection Letters or Court Filings. Presents information in one-on-one and small group environments to other employees or outside groups. Assists in the preparation of legal arguments and case files for Program Integrity cases under dispute/appeal or legal action. Creates, edits and maintains legal forms and documents, ensuring timely preparation and accuracy. Thoroughly and accurately enters and maintains data in applicable systems and/or databases as per established practices, processes, and protocols; creates or generates reports; evaluates data or reports that may require additional action; and other related data management functions. Assists PI Director in collecting and maintaining data for performance metrics. May assist on other related projects for the Chief Legal Officer. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have associate’s Degree in Business, Office Administration, Paralegal studies or a related field and 2+ years of administrative support experience. Extensive knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) is needed. Paralegal Certification. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Office Administration, Paralegal studies or a related field is preferred. Extensive knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) is needed. Certified Administrative Professional or related certification is preferred. Ability to manage and uphold integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data is needed. Considerable knowledge of office practices, techniques, and technology is needed. Working knowledge of and the ability to understand legal documents, contractual language and other complex or sophisticated topics and materials are needed. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed. Adheres to deadlines, is highly organized, and maintain a thorough understanding of legal procedures and documents are needed. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, including the ability to design reports and presentations for internal and external recipients; excellent typing skills are needed.
