Legal Assistant The candidate will join busy insurance defense and general litigation firm. Should have 3+ years of litigation secretarial experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be able to create, revise and proofread legal documents and correspondence, as well as know legal document layout and format. Prepare TOC and TOA. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions and assemble information into proper legal format from outlined instructions or established procedures. Candidates are expected to work independently in the absence of specific instructions; must have good communication skills; be able to work well with others; organize and prioritize work; and work for multiple attorneys. E-Filing experience a plus.
