Syndicated Loan Documentation Specialist - Associate The candidate will review and negotiate legal pre-syndicated loan documentation, such as credit agreements and assignment agreements. Collaborate with Deal Teams and Legal Counsel to ensure loan documentation contains market standards. Record, track and distribute trade assignability language, confidentiality provisions and DQ provisions to downstream operational teams. Advise and/or provide expertise across wholesale lending operations on credit agreement provision impacts to workflow.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience or JD preferred. Knowledge of the Syndicated Loan business and LSTA standards preferred. Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation or related experience dealing with legal documentation preferred. Keen attention to detail and strong control-focused mindset. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of syndicated bank loans and bankruptcy trade claims preferred. Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management across and within the lines of business with keen attention to detail strong oral and written communication skills, and strong analytical capability. Demonstrated experience operating in a challenging and rapidly changing environment with a desire to accept new assignments and the ability to learn new principles and dynamic systems quickly. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage a variety of tasks. Must be a team-oriented individual with effective communication and leadership skills. Critical decision-making abilities including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to issues. Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills.
