Profile

Legal Investigator Duties: Helping people with asbestos exposure and other personal injury cases. Will be responsible for large case load, thus organization is a must. Duties will include interviewing potential new clients, locating and interviewing witnesses who may be difficult to find, preparing detailed and organized summaries of interviews for legal staff, reviewing documents and depositions, searching for businesses.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Journalism degree ideal. Experience in a plaintiff’s law firm and an interest in asbestos cases desired. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), advanced people locating skills, superior research abilities, the ability to perform in-depth interviews about subject matters that include construction trades, ships, corporations and asbestos products, excellent computer skills and the ability to type at 40 wpm. Interest and knowledge of asbestos, history, journalism and construction trades are a plus.
