Location:

Duties:
- Represent and zealously defend tenants in all phases of unlawful detainer (eviction) proceedings.
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare pleadings for eviction defense cases.
- Argue motions and appear in court for hearings and trials.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients regarding their rights and available legal options.
- Manage a fast-moving caseload, with cases typically lasting between 45-75 days.
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure effective case strategy and preparation.
- Potential for involvement in plaintiff’s personal injury and real estate litigation cases.
Requirements:
- Strong passion for tenant rights and litigation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment and manage multiple cases effectively.
- Strong courtroom presence and willingness to gain hands-on trial experience.
- Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar (Required).
