ProfileReal Estate Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for the real estate and project finance transactions. Will perform due diligence including review of title commitments, surveys and underlying title documents and entity documents, coordinate and implement transactions and closings. Organize and maintain due diligence using document management systems. Other responsibilities as client needs dictate.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelorâ€™s degree and paralegal certificate or appropriate job-related experience required. Minimum 1-2 yearsâ€™ experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm environment. Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys and related title exception documents and familiarity with ALTA title and survey standards. Knowledge of partnerships, limited liability companies, tax credit or partnership syndications, a plus. Self-directed individual with the demonstrated ability to prioritize, juggle multiple assignments, function as part of a cohesive team and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Excellent, organizational, communication, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communications. Ability and willingness to work overtime to meet client needs.
