A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their robust commercial litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex litigation, a solid understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules, and exposure to investigations and/or white collar matters is advantageous. Superior academic credentials, strong communication skills, and excellent written work product are essential for this role. An active Bar license in Pennsylvania is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and tasks effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania (active and in good standing preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules.
  • Experience with investigations and/or white collar matters is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a record of high achievement.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling complex commercial disputes.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in client counseling and case management.
