Financial Restructuring Paralegal
The candidate will be responsible for: Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in all phases of bankruptcy litigation; Drafting routine court documents; Preparing, finalizing and performing electronic filing using CM/ECF and all related platforms for electronic filing; Advanced working knowledge and understanding of state and federal court bankruptcy processes and procedures; Maintaining case files; tracking and controlling document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery); Maintaining and managing hearing calendar; Indexing, tracking, and controlling exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial; Supporting attorneys during hearings, including assistance with creation of demonstratives and courtroom presentation/support; and Advanced working knowledge of Relativity, Excel, Case Notebook and related case management software is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skills. Should have demonstrated excellent facility using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), database and presentation software. BA or BS degree preferred. Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with 7 years of comparable work experience required.
