Floater Legal Assistant
The candidate will be responsible to familiarize with every attorney and all areas of practice within the firm. Assignment involves multi-tasking, complex document and spreadsheet production, heavy administrative functions and client contact, and requires a high degree of executive assistance and technical skills. Must be a self-starter, work well with a multitude of individuals, be well organized and demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions with clients, co-workers and third party affiliates. Must maintain strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters. Associate degree or better and 3 or more years’ progressive legal assistant experience is necessary. Knowledge of the estate planning practice area is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel is required. Also Adobe Acrobat and comparison software is essential. Excellent analytical skills are must. Notary public certification is needed. Excellent organizational skills including file maintenance and billing preparation is necessary. Past floater experience is desirable.
