Real Estate Paralegal, Contract Responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of transactional matters, including: Draft contracts and documents, including closing documents; Organize and update status charts for deal flow and manage transactional calendars; Perform due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions; Review title commitments, surveys, and leases. Prepare financial analysis statements for transactions. Perform general corporate work such as entity formation, annual filings, and drafting resolutions.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification or equivalent combination of experience and education is required. 3+years of experience supporting commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Sound analytical and critical thinking abilities upon which advanced skills could be developed with additional time and experience. Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and administrative skills, including performing duties accurately and in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Must have strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Must have advanced skills with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly master a variety of software platforms.
