Litigation Paralegal The candidate is responsible for helping to keep firm’s legal operations efficient and organized. Prior experience in subpoena compliance, interactions with law enforcement, and litigation support is preferred Conducts fact investigations and leads document collection efforts related to pre-litigation matters, filed lawsuits, and law enforcement requests. Prepares memoranda and summaries of factual research and makes recommendations to supervising attorneys. Manages aspects of firm’s relationship with law enforcement, including working closely with in-house counsel and internal Trust and Safety team to research and respond to law enforcement requests. Provides legal support to various in-house teams to ensure compliance guidelines and internal policies are met, and manages efficient workflow and handling of legal requests. Helps define procedures and practices within Legal to determine appropriate actions with respect to internal escalations. Maintains overall governance of existing processes and strategies. Assists in-house counsel to prepare testimony for legal proceedings. Manages day-to-day calendaring of legal deadlines. Liaises with internal and external counsel and law enforcement contacts on a day-to-day basisLeads projects and tasks within a broader legal strategy in collaboration with other internal teams.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have JD degree or Paralegal certificate is not required for this position. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant legal experience administrative, legal, operations, project management. Strong oral and written communication skill is essential. Must have proficiency working in a Mac environment, and specifically with Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.), Dropbox, Excel, Outlook and Word
