ProfileStaff Attorney The candidate will conduct thorough intakes to ascertain immigration relief. Handle large caseload providing direct representation to individuals eligible for immigration relief. Provide representation to individuals in immigration removal proceedings as well as before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration Courts, or Texas state courts if related to a client’s immigration case. Assume general administrative responsibilities, including detailed case management supervision of a legal assistant, and timekeeping. Conduct Know Your Rights presentations and other community outreach, as needed, in Corpus Chrsiti and the Coastal Bend Region. Other duties, activities, and responsibilities, as assigned. Must have JD degree from an accredited law school. Should preferably have admission to Texas State Bar. Fluency in Spanish (speak, read and write) is required. Experience in immigration and family law is desired.
