Business Development Analyst The candidate develops proposals, agreements and responds to client request for modification to current agreements. Incumbent will maintain Business development pipeline, to ensure its accuracy and to inform operational leadership as to the stages of completion for proposals and modifications. Incumbent will use the profitability analysis to inform pricing decisions for new business. Supports the capture of risk data and risk mitigation strategies and that appropriate reporting mechanisms are in place. Review, parse, and analyze proposal and agreement documents. Identify, assess, and communicate potential bid issues to appropriate stakeholders. Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals. Research, write, and edit proposal responses that incorporate value propositions. Work collaboratively in a cross divisional team environment, fostering relationships with subject matter experts and Business development. Coordinate project tasks with team members and conduct status meetings and milestone reviews.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must have 5 years of work experience including audit, operations, process engineering or risk management. Should have strong knowledge of SOX and other industry-related regulatory requirements, and operational risk concepts. Preferred experience: Experience in the financial services industry; Experience as a Paralegal; 3 years recent proposal writing experience. Must have professional communications and presentation skills. Strong relationship management skills are needed. Should have demonstrated leadership or management skills. Must have solid knowledge of risk management principles and controls, broad-based business practices, and deep understanding of segment/function business processes, with the ability to assess levels of adherence/execution and identify risk/control improvement opportunities.
