Commercial Contracts/Corporate Associate Attorney
Duties: Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret commercial contracts with customers, vendors and distributors such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supply Agreements and Master Service Agreements, among others. Develop, maintain, and update contract files to ensure accuracy of policies and contracts. Helping develop and maintaining overall commercial contract regime, and working ensure easy digital access to contracts for better operational leverage. Contribute and work with legal team in handling a range of legal matters. Communicate internally and provide advice to teams, including corporate leadership, to ensure an understanding of contracts and policies. Collaboration with Sales Operations department on contract function and management to devise and implement strategy and operational policy to create and maintain uniform contracting practices and collecting and maintaining and auditing a central contract-resource file. Readiness to be trained on and take on a unique variety of matters and filings. Lead and support various ad hoc projects within the Legal department, as needed.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: JD Degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school, and active member of the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction. License in good standing to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction. 3-5 years of relevant commercial contract experience in a corporate law firm or in-house setting required. Strategic thinker, self-motivated, team player, with ability to act independently and to coordinate projects among multiple stakeholders. Willingness to proactively learn and adapt existing skills to a unique environment Strong negotiation skills and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work well under pressure and work effectively with company executives, attorneys, and other in-house staff, including extensive work with colleagues in other locations. Demonstrated competency in reviewing, negotiation and drafting transactional corporate and commercial documents; writing sample will be requested.. Ability to work and show timeliness and consistency, along with a great amount of attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Well organized and the ability to multi-task/prioritize key tasks to meet deadlines. The ability to take initiative and work effectively in different situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
