Legal Assistant Duties: Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys. Maintaining calendar events, E-filing and assisting with scheduling and setting of depositions, hearings and mediation conferences. May require some discovery tasks such as the issuance of subpoenas. Provide administrative support to Attorneys. Prepare basic legal documents and correspondence. E-File and E-Serve legal documents. Communicate with clients, witnesses and experts. Maintain calendars and monitor deadlines. Manage E-service emails and direct documents to Attorneys.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Workers’ compensation experience preferred. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills a must. Excellent organizational skills. Familiar with the legal procedures and court system. Knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office. Working knowledge of case management software. Ability to work as a team member and independently handle various tasks.
