Job Overview: An established workers’ compensation defense law firm located in Concord, CA, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join its dynamic team. Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases, ranging in complexity.
• Open new files and develop comprehensive litigation plans.
• Conduct discovery and make court appearances as required.
• Interact with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize on case development and resolutions.
• Stay informed of relevant legal developments and changes in workers’ compensation law.
• Uphold the firm's high standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Requirements:

• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• A solid academic background demonstrating a commitment to legal excellence.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation defense, either at a large or small law firm.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar license.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
