Compliance Analyst - State Licensing and Examinations The candidate will assist with the handling of state regulatory examinations and complaints. Assist in management of a third party vendor for obtaining and renewing state licenses, and perform other tasks related to maintaining licenses. Assist in the development and implementation of a testing and monitoring program, as well as the development of remediation training. Perform various projects assigned by the manager of the State Law and Licensing Team. This position will report to the Manager -State Law and Licensing team. Assist with the management of state regulatory examinations. Obtain documentation requested from examiners or third party auditors. Ensure all requested information received from business partners is accurate and fully meets requests. Follow process for tracking information requests, routing requests to business partners for fulfillment, and receipt of information from business partners. Assist in drafting examination responses. Track due dates and provide reminders to counsel. Act as point person to respond to Corporate audits, quarterly reviews, etc. Assist in the management of the team's Sharepoint site and Logic Manager pages. Respond to state regulatory examinations. Act as contact for State Regulators. Receive, review and research responses from State Regulatory exams to determine if CNG is compliant. Contact field management and collaborate with them to resolve issue. Draft responses to examination reports and review with counsel prior to sending to State Regulators. Draft remediation recommendations and assist in drafting training for the field. Perform tasks related to maintaining required licenses. Assist in the timely renewal of state licenses. Track due dates for licenses and work with our third party vendor to assume all licenses are timely renewed. Distribute copies of renewed licenses to retail locations. Handle communications for the State Law & Licensing team. Monitor Compliance email and hotline. Review department mail and forward to the appropriate destination. Ensure timely payment and tracking of all invoices. Respond to questions from retail locations. Coordinate with State Law Counsel and Manager as needed to respond. Undergraduate 4-year degree in business related field required. JD or Paralegal certificate preferred. Must have 1-3 years of experience in an office setting, experience as a paralegal or compliance/legal analyst preferred. Knowledge of consumer credit or state licensed lending is helpful. Knowledge of financial laws and regulations including TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA is a plus.
