Patent Prosecution Associate The candidate will drafting and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering and similar technologies. Contributing to a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution. Assisting with taking depositions and defending depositions. Performing due diligence . Supporting the practice by performing general research and writing. Has excellent written communication skills and an ability to produce written work product that is concise and effective are required. Possesses strong analytical skills and an ability to offer unique perspectives on complex issues are required. 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience is required. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or equivalent practical experience is required. Associate applicants should be licensed to practice law in either California, Colorado or Texas and be in good standing. USPTO Patent Bar admission is required for all applicants are required.
