Public Interest Attorney The candidate will staff a statewide telephone helpline providing neutral information on adult guardianship and related matters; collaborate with statewide partners and counties to promote and educate consumers on advance directives; draft quarterly newsletters on related topics; conduct at least 12 outreach presentations annually to professional and consumer organizations; moderate an interactive adult protective service professionals email listser; maintain a program website with up-to-date consumer publications; participate in broad-based work groups on guardian training and education; prepare ready-to-use training materials; and work with counties to strengthen the use of volunteer guardians. Conduct outreach, developing training programs, and creating educational materials for both professionals and consumers. Address experience in substantive knowledge of guardianship and advance directives, providing legal telephone and email consultations.
