Legal Assistant - Insurance Defense The candidate should have 2-4 years of litigation defense experience preferably in the area of property damage, including experience in responding to written discovery requests, requesting records, preparing hearing exhibits, scheduling, and general knowledge of practices and procedures of the Florida Civil Rules of Procedures, e-filing and e-service. Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills required. Should type 65+ wpm and be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft WORD, Adobe XI and familiarity with document management and billing software programs. Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant Total Office and Juris is a plus.
