ProfileStaff Attorney The candidate will be responsible for providing direct legal services to under-served, low-income clients in a variety of healthcare, Social Security legal matters, including public benefits, housing, and family law. Reporting to the Managing Attorney, serve as the designated liaison between organization, stakeholders throughout the provider community, non-profit leaders, and a wide array of human service entities. Cultivate, and coordinate effective working relationships, from inception to follow up to assure organization's impact to individuals served in Orange County.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2-4 years of experience as a lawyer. Should have commitment to low-income/vulnerable clients and communities on legal matters. Experience working or volunteering in a health or human services setting preferred. Must be admitted to practice law in Florida with commensurate human services experience. Should have highly approachable presentation and organizational skills and the ability to effectively and consistently engage a broad constituency, including experience in community /grant-funded programs. Spoken and written fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Must possess excellent legal and community partnership skills and be computer literate (Microsoft Office 365).
