Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its team in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves managing a variety of business immigration cases, including E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5 direct investments and regional center investments, EB-1A, and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional eager to develop case strategies, communicate with clients, and collaborate with legal teams. The firm offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.

Duties:
Manage a diverse caseload of business immigration matters.
Communicate directly with clients, USCIS, and consular posts regarding case progress.
Conduct legal research, analyze case details, and develop strategies for successful immigration filings.
Supervise and guide legal assistants in preparing and submitting visa applications, waivers, and other immigration-related documents.
Schedule and conduct client meetings in-person and via virtual platforms.
Track case statuses and ensure timely follow-ups with clients and relevant agencies.
Respond to USCIS requests for evidence and government correspondence, crafting effective responses.
Maintain case calendars, monitor deadlines, and manage workflow efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in immigration law.
Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in case management and client communications.
State Bar License in good standing.
Fluency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) or equivalent law degree.
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in at least one . state.
Skills:
Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
Proficiency in using legal software and case management tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Multilingual communication skills (Spanish or Chinese preferred).
