Probate Paralegal The candidate will assist and support all aspects of a diverse practice, including preparing/filing court documents, telephone communication with clients and courts, file maintenance, preparation of accounting and (estate tax returns may be useful but not necessary), and preparation of trust transfer documentation. Must have 3+ years of probate, guardianship and trust experience. Must possess a working knowledge of the Florida Probate Rules and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Florida Statutes. Must possess the experience and organization skills to efficiently and effectively handle the varied responsibilities of case management. Must have experience drafting and analyzing legal documents and have the skills and experience to work with electronic management of case documents, including computer-based redaction, review and processing of case documents and preparation for electronic production of documents. Must have working knowledge of or the ability to learn e-discovery and litigation support software. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, advanced knowledge of computer applications (including Word; PowerPoint, Excel; and Outlook and document assembly programs) and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
