Profile

Program Manager - Product Legal
Duties: Provide responsive and business-focused support in response to inquiries to Product Legal. Design, develop and simplify legal processes to increase efficiency, support scalability, and ensure quality (such as established and documented standard operating procedures or SOPs). Implement new software tools to enhance the efficiency of the Product Legal team and help scale the company globally. Work cross-functionally to help build out programs in areas ranging from software product development to intellectual property to early access programs, to name a few. Take the day-to-day lead on Product Legal operations processes, working closely with Product Counsel, Product Development, and other business teams to ensure an organized and streamlined product release process targeted to business strategy and built to scale. Help operationalize Product Legal release requirements by developing, documenting, and executing on Product Legal standard operating procedures. Assist with billing matters and helping manage outside counsel and other external provider spend. Other special projects, which may include: maintaining up-to-date trackers, implementing new policies, assisting with program tracking, drafting internal communications, editing and reviewing training, conducting file management, and more. Manage legal projects and outside counsel for quality assurance, compliance, and progress against goals. Work with legal team members to improve processes, provide training, and ensure needs are met.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 5+ years of paralegal work or equivalent experience, with some experience in a company setting, preferably a technology company. Project Management experience. Experience supporting one or more of the following areas within a law firm or in-house legal department: project or program management, legal operations, product legal, intellectual property, corporate legal, or other such roles within a legal environment with the same or similar responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: High attention to detail. Gravitation towards designing and implementing processes that scale. Ability to build strong relationships quickly and interact with all levels of the business with ease. Great judgment, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated teaming ability to work well with, influence, and inform diverse groups, including peers and business partners. Dedicated to providing top-notch client-oriented service and possessing strong interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and the highest level of integrity and business ethics. Project Management experience and credentials. General understanding of cloud and software industries, including the SaaS model, and a strong desire to work on tough legal issues in these areas.
