The Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join the practice who has at least 4 years of experience in employment law.

Must possess knowledge of federal, state, local employment and federal labor laws, compensation and benefits.

A candidate may have a background that includes both litigation and transactional experience.

"Growing Firm That Has Issues"

It would be helpful to the firm to have one person who works there that is 100% confident and knows what they are doing in this type of work. Staff need someone who is unbiased and can lead and guide.

Pros : The firm is very much still growing and learning. This is the best place to be for someone who is new since everyone is learning right along with them.
Cons : I can start with the pay of the staff. Some are getting paid more when they do a small portion of the work someone else does. It is obvious that some of the staff is paid more due to personal relationships and if you are friends, you will get better pay. Pay in general is something that should be worked on. The attorneys don't give credit where it is due and will often overlook the person who did the most work to favor someone they know. The firm misleads information to the staff and confuses us on what we shouldn't be doing. There really isn't any training either. Since the firm is growing, it is being blamed on that and saying we can grow and learn with them.
